Department of Women and Child Development was established on 31st December 2001 and is working for development activities for women and children. Registered Non Govt Organizations are also working for these activities. Financial Grants are provided for the activites like supplementary nutrition, immunization, health check-ups, women welfare scheme, family welfare centers, etc.
